My name is Bob Page I am the co owner together with my wife Grethe of the The Shelters and Canopies Company a trading division of Tarpaflex US LLC.  We are a family business with two of our sons working in the business. Collectively we have had over seventy years experience selling tarpaulins and canopies to our customers throughout the USA & Great Britain. 

Our offices are located in the attractive city of Naples, Florida with Naples pier and Gulf of Mexico being less than 4 miles away.

Just to give you a little back ground of how we got into this business. Over 30 years ago I was working as a senior sales representative in London for Ruberoid - a large roofing felt manufacturer.  Whilst working there I was headhunted to increase sales for a successful company making Supermarket bags (similar to the blue bags you can buy in IKEA) These bags are made from blue  woven polyethylene exactly the same material  as poly tarps are produced from.

I soon realised that the blue poly tarps were sold in vast quantities to the construction industry and many other industries the length and breadth of the UK. With this information to hand I thought this would be an ideal way for my then boss to grow his business. Due to the negative reaction I got from him when I presented him with a proposal to expand into the tarps business, my wife and I decided to set up our own tarpaulins business and Tarpaflex Ltd was born.  In the early days we managed to muster up enough orders from my old customers whilst I worked for the roofing company. To our surprise we obtained enough business to nearly empty our very first 20ft container of tarps we had on the high seas. This is how Grethe & Bob Page got into the Tarp & Canopy business.
